20 Bead Rekenrek Cards
Long-View Learning’s Rekenrek Cards contain 118 images, one per page. The Rekenrek Cards are images of 20 bead rekenreks and can be projected or printed on cardstock. Once your learners have worked on additive and multiplicative thinking with a rekenrek, use these cards to facilitate fluency.

Once children have had many experiences using the rekenrek to explore number relationships and have worked with the rekenrek as a model for thinking, utilize our Rekenrek Cards to develop fluency.
These Rekenrek Cards are a digital download. There are 118 images of 20 bead rekenreks in the PDF, which also contains a page of Directions and a page of helpful Background Information.
You can project the Rekenrek Cards or print on cardstock. Show students a Rekenrek Card for 2-3 seconds. Then ask students: “How many beads did you see on the top row? How many beads did you see on the bottom row? How many beads were there altogether?”
